  • How much does a new roof cost?

The price of a new roof depends on a variety of factors, including the size of your roof, the materials, and the warranty you select.

We recommend that you schedule a free roof inspection and estimate. Our estimator will work with you to determine the exact price, based on their measurement and your choice of roofing materials. 9 out of 10 times your roof damage is a peril covered by your homeowners insurance!

  • Do you work on insurance claims?

Yes. If your roof has sustained wind or weather damage, you are likely able to file a claim under your homeowner’s insurance policy. We have a great track record of helping homeowners in the Atlanta area navigate the complex process of roof insurance claims.

  • Do you warranty your work?

Yes, since we are a GAF Certified installer we can offer their Systems Plus Warranty which is a lifetime warranty on their 3-tab shingles (25 years) and their architectural shingles (50 years). In addition we offer a limited labor warranty with every install and repair.

  • How long does a roof replacement take?

We complete 99% of our roof replacement projects in one day. If your roof replacement project is large, complex, or requires additional repair work, your project may take 2-3 days, depending on its scope.

  • Why shouldn't I go with the cheapest roofing contractor?

We never recommend going with the cheapest contractor – a low estimate is often too good to be true. The contractor is most likely not insured, and will almost certainly cut corners with labor and materials. Almost always, they’ll attempt to add a large up-charge at the end of the project. Often, they’re a jack-of-all-trades handyman who will over-promise and under-deliver.

  • What is the difference between a workmanship warranty and a manufacturer's warranty?

A workmanship warranty covers any issues or leaks that occur as a result of faulty installation. A manufacturer’s warranty simply covers defective material or shingles.

Unlike many Atlanta area contractors, we offer a workmanship warranty that covers any issues resulting from faulty installation, on top of any manufacturer’s warranties.

  • What can I expect on installation day?

Our foreman and crews generally arrive between 7 and 8AM. Our crews will use large tarps to protect your home, pool and landscaping from debris (old shingles, nails, and underlayment.) Once the old roofing material is removed, we will check the sheathing, or decking, for damaged or rotten areas. We will replace any damaged plywood/decking as agreed in the proposal, as a new roof can’t be installed on damaged decking. New drip edge, ice and water barrier, and synthetic underlayment are installed, after which the new architectural shingles are installed. All trash is placed into a dumpster and removed.

  • How do I know if I need a new roof?

Most older roofs have a lifespan of 15-25 years, depending on a variety of factors including shingle and installation quality, location, ventilation, and wind and weather damage. Some warning signs of a bad roof are:

    Missing shingles
    Broken or damaged shingles
Signs of leaks on your ceiling
    Loss of asphalt granulation

If you notice any of these signs, or if your roof is older than 15 years old, we recommend that you call us to schedule a free estimate. After a full roof and attic inspection, our estimator will recommend either a repair or replacement. We’ll never recommend a full roof replacement unless you need it.

  • How long does it take to complete the job?

Depending on the type of your project, our turnaround time generally ranges between 1-4 weeks for roof replacement, and 1-3 weeks for roof repairs. Of course, this depends on factors such as the time of year and weather conditions.
